Wedding Websites
It is becoming more and more common for couples to publish a website before their big day to inform people of certain information. They can contain:
- Google maps to the church and reception.
- A link to the hotel’s website or the hotel details
- The dinner menu
- A link to the wedding present list, if one is being maintained by a retailer.
- A form for friends and family who can’t be present at the wedding to post good wishs - telegrams are so last century.
- Account details for those who wish to deposit money in the couple’s account - if desired.
- It could include a blog so that guests can receive notifications of when the site is updated with new information or when a detail has changed.
- Afterwards a selection of photographs can be placed on the sites for friends and family to view them. A sample of these can be view in the sample site.
- A short note can be posted by the couple after the wedding to express to guests who made their day special.
